Update 1: Apologies, I made a mistake on the grid bot video I published.
When you have two coins that are competitors (example: ADA and ETH), it is a good idea to have a grid profiting from the fluctuations for as long as they are still battling with each other.
But what is not a great idea is to trade them until one of them gets screwed. If that happened you will end up with huge bag of the looser coin.
As mentioned in the video, you should only grid trade pairs that you believe in the long term future of both tokens.
You can grid trade competitor coins but only while they are still competing. If there are signs one of them is going to get sacked, pull out from the grid asap.
