Bot Assistant updates

There are two updates for Bot Assistant. Read below for more details.

New metrics for Pair Selection

Bot Assistant has two new metrics for Pair Selection. Both metrics can be used for either sorting or filtering.

  • DV (Daily volume % change)
  • DefiLlama’s MC/TVL

DV

DV represents the percentage change in volume of a coin for the last 24 hours. The value could be either positive or negative.
Here is an example using DV as sorting category to retrieve the top 7 pairs in all categories with the highest daily volume percentage change in the last 24 hours.

BAQL:PS:ALL_7_DV

The metric is provided by the TradingView Crypto Coin Screener.

MCTVL

MCTVL represents the ratio between Market Cap and the Total Value Locked in a coin. The value is a decimal number larger than 0.

Total Value Locked (TVL) is a metric used to measure the total value of digital assets that are locked or staked in a particular decentralized finance (DeFi) platform or distributed application (DApp)

Here is an example using MCTVL as sorting category to retrieve the top 5 pairs in all categories with the largest ratio between market cap and total value locked. Notice the sentence is filtering coins with market cap lower than 3 million. This is a healthy measure to filter out lower cap coins that have insane MCTVL ratios.

BAQL:PS:ALL_5_MCTVL_(3M≤MC)

The metric is provided by DefiLlama.

Check BAQL reference for more information about Pair Selection metrics. Use the BAQL generator to create or update the bot’s BAQL sentences.

Support for future pairs on OKX and Bybit

Bot Assistant added support on Pair Selection for the following markets:

  • OKX USDT & USDC futures (perpetual swaps)
  • ByBit Futures USDT Perpetual

OKX exchange

On 3Commas is possible to create a multiple bot for OKX futures.
Use a BAQL sentence as usual with the sorting criteria and optionally a set of filters.
For example the sentence BAQL:PS:ALL_3_BUS in a bot connected to OKX futures will retrieve the top 3 pairs in all categories with the larger bullish sentiment. A possible set of pairs could be:

USDT_GODS-USDT-SWAP, USDT_PEOPLE-USDT-SWAP, USDT_WAVES-USDT-SWAP

ByBit exchange

On 3Commas is possible to create only single pair Bybit futures bots.
Use a BAQL sentence as usual with the sorting criteria but indicate to retrieve just one pair. Indicating more than one pair will incur in an error trying to update the pairs in the bot. Optionally add a set of filters to the sentence.
For example the sentence BAQL:PS:ALL_1_DVO in a bot connected to ByBit USDT Perpetual will retrieve the top 1 pair in all categories with the larger daily volatility. A possible pair could be:

USDT_LINAUSDT
